In
this session we will examine obstacles the geriatric resident
faces in their ongoing effort to meet their basic human needs
and their inclination towards depression. A strategy will
be identified to assist residents in making the appropriate
adjustments to help restore their emotional well-being. Special
emphasis will be placed on the individuality of each resident
and the development of personal goals that are realistic,
manageable, and attainable through an approach that is well
thought out.
