Dear
Mr. Luken:
"Preventing
Work Place Violence in the Health Care Environment"
was a HIT (pun fully intended). We are grateful toyou and
Mr. Heimke for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us.
Although this particular subject is one that most people would
prefer not to have to think about, I am confident that the
attendees will take the information back to others in their
facilities. You certainly provided some practical tools for
them to use should they (or when they) encounter a potentially
violent situation.
The
comments and the evaluations of the workshop were very positive.
On a scale of 1 - 5, with 5 being the highest possible score,
the overall mean was 4.4. Enclosed is a detailed summary for
your review.
Thanks
again to you and Mr. Heimke for bringing to New Mexico the
resources and tools needed to help make our health care environments
a safer place to work.
Sincerely,
Lee
Ann Nutt, Ed.D.
