We
have been very pleased with our arrangement with your company
to provide Case Management for our facility in the hospital
setting, as I believe that our increased admissions can be
attributed to this service. Your employees, Mary Beth Butler
and Suesan Buetenbach, are very professional and represent
our facility well. They are very knowledgeable about the Medicare
Prospective payment system, and are able to give us accurate
and complete information, which is essential for making decisions
regarding potential admissions. I also believe that their
presence in the hospitals on a daily basis benefits Summerfield
because it gives us increased exposure, but also benefits
the hospitals because they are able to discharge quicker and
with less work on their part. Before this service was available,
our Admissions Director would have to leave our facility to
make hospital visits, which was a very time-consuming and
inefficient way to use our staff. Now, the need to do this
has been eliminated - thus our Admissions personnel are available
in-house to take calls and give tours as needed. Lastly, I
also feel that Mary Beth and Suesan create goodwill for our
facility by their presence in the hospital, among the families
and patients. It is very comforting for patients to know that
they have already met someone who represents our facility
before they come here to live.
In
short, we are very happy with this service and feel that it
has been both beneficial and cost effective for our facility.
